A mansion for you and for me

In our institutions today there is a strong influence to discard traditional religions
(particularly Christianity) and replace them with something else. Usually the offered
substitute is not even remotely like the old tradition. It is a total reaction to the old and
established teachings. Very often it is a trade-in of religion for science and yet you
may need more faith to change to the new teachings than you did to follow the traditional
religion or even no religion at all.

Anything that requires faith to believe, because it lacks physical measurement or
substances that can be seen and weighed may indeed be nothing more than a new
emerging religion.

A careful study of even evolution shows that in the absence of all the transitory bones
it is indeed as it was correctly called, a theory, and to believe it you must have faith
that these millions of years did exist and the billions of transitory bones of evolving things,
and ours, just disappeared but did nevertheless exist. Today they are not to be found,
but faith in their existence is the only thing that we have. It is one of the greatest faiths in the world, but its followers would prefer not to be seen as a religion surviving on faith. There seems to be more satisfaction in being known as a science, therefore taking the higher ground.

The question we arrive at if we allow ourselves to think about it, is, that some religions are merely a reaction to religions that came before them.
If the original situation were truth, e.g. something that simply existed without needing to be called a religion, then all of our modern new religions are only a reaction to that original truth.

Our behavior is influenced by what we believe. Whatever we are, wherever we are going in life may well depend upon what we believe.

For many of us “what we believe” we do not necessarily think of as our religion.
However if we have faith that what we believe is correct, it has indeed become our religion, even if it is a replacement or reaction to organized religion. We do not have to visit a church to have a religion or pray to an icon, because everybody believes in something. Anything that we have come to believe, and allow it to live in our thoughts has indeed become our religion and all the denials and wishful thinking cannot erase its influence on our lives.

The type of life we lead and our actions are a better guide for describing us than to ask, “What is your religion?”

Just looking at the entire world and the surrounding universe tells us more than any theory, so therefore theories do not give us enough to believe in. Our souls are hungrier for more than mere words; therefore we become satisfied from learning and applying it in our lives, to see if it works.

Christianity became a dominant religion in parts of the developed world and the developing cultures of Europe, Britain, and the Americas grew hand in hand with Christianity. Those who would discard it as a religion would hardly wish to also discard the parallel progress that was registered by Christian societies as they populated vast areas of what became very developed and civilized parts of the world. This was in a great part due to the nature of Christianity. It allowed a framework for progress of exactly that magnitude that can still be seen even where it has been gradually excluded from the curriculums and teachings institutions. In its place there is a very big vacuum today as large numbers of all people struggle to find a real meaning for life.
Money, sex and power are substitutes but they contribute little to the finer fabric of societies and today we are a planet of people in a search of truth, just as we were at the beginning, except that today we are buried in information without enough wisdom to know what to do with all that information.
For those who still can read the words of Jesus, it is worth pondering over the following message.

“In my father’s house, there are many mansions; I go now to prepare a place for you.”
      John 14:2

For those of us who wonder what that meant it is first necessary to know that God’s house includes the entire universe and all that is in it. The mansions are certainly big enough to accommodate each and every one of us because God filled the universe with all these galaxies.

Our scientists are baffled by the number of galaxies that appear to be out there in the many billions and in fact are constantly growing in number (mysterious real estate). No scientist can tell you where they come from or exactly what they are doing there in such great numbers. They can guess though and come up with a great many different theories. If you ask for the simplest explanation you may not need to resort to being a rocket scientist to receive the most straightforward answer that is available in the entire universe. The answers have always been with us, regardless of what we believe, or which religion we inherited.

We know that God refers to us as His harvest, and that kind of language helps us to understand because we all know exactly what that means (a harvest has a beginning and an end), using the words, “In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth.” In the end He will harvest the earth and not a single one of His precious seeds will remain un-harvested. We are all very loved and precious.
All will be brought into his presence and every knee shall bend, as we realize the greatness before us.

After that, the sophisticated thinking of great “experts” has theorized that we will all take a vacation or sit on a cloud playing a harp or whatever to the human minds constitutes a “reward.” If we bring our worn out bones and our stressed minds with us that would surely be needed, but in the spirit we will have no such needs or desires. That will all be left behind. We will be spiritual and not handicapped by slow moving bodies and minds that served only for our life here as we prepare ourselves for the harvest of the wheat.
That’s the language we are taught to help us understand.
In the earthly gardens we harvest our wheat and use the grain to sow the next crop….If it is our first garden, we may want to sow a much larger area of grain for the next harvest, but in that first little garden it would be necessary to make sure that the harvest was a good quality so it would be able to survive in the future no matter where it is planted.

If we are the harvest regardless of what we have been led to believe, then we are indeed a precious harvest, and this earth is the seed-bed for the entire house of God, which we know as the universe or everything that He created, for His purposeful plan.

We will not be required in the physical (body) sense to continue our existence, which is obvious, so we can look forward to a spirit existence for ourselves. This much we have learned from Christian teachings, but so little is known or talked about regarding why we have to learn so much and be prepared so vigorously in a physical body when the future is absolutely spiritual.

This need not be such a mystery.
What we become here, added to the miracle that God gives as we become a spirit will allow us to be so different, in fact incorruptible, e.g. unable to be harmed.
Every grain, every little seed of God’s harvest, is so important and so precious because God’s garden is so vast that not one of us are superfluous. All are needed for such a plan. Imagine a whole galaxy being without its designated seed of life, and there are billions of these galaxies in space, so we are indeed precious to the very last one of us.

If anyone can imagine those galaxies without a creator putting them together and also teaching us the basics of life so that we can assist in the forever plan please let me know.

I stopped fighting against God’s will a long time ago, and even though I am not in the least bit different from anyone else on this planet of his harvest, I can feel a great deal of comfort in knowing that the earth is full and ready for His harvest and the galaxies can be seen in sufficient numbers to accommodate us all, every single last one of us!  The most baffling thing for our modern scientists is to discover that “matter” (as they refer to God’s work) is expanding outwards from us at an incredible and constant rate. In other words, the universe grows as more galaxies are needed (this could be a little difficult for the evolutionist to accept but remember that even he or she is in the universal plan of God.)

As scientist get further from being able to explain these things we need to take on the simplicity of little children and that faith which we all may have by simply reaching for it. In this way we can avoid confusion and enjoy all the other little tests that are included in this first kingdom of all. In fact the only one that is designed to last forever.

Did you ever feel like giving up? Don’t bother, because the way ahead is all taken care of by the Eternal Father, and if He put you in, He’s going to get you all the way.
